Administrative Support to the PSC
We are responsible to ensure that all required matters are transmitted to the PSC in accordance to the GSKN’s rules and regulations. The Public Service Commission of Saint Christopher and Nevis is an independent constitutional body established under the 1983 Saint Kitts and Nevis Constitution and executes its responsibilities with fairness and integrity. The key responsibilities of the PSC include: Discipline, appointments, promotions, transfers, resignation, retirement and dismissal of public officers within the twin-island federation’s service.

Receive & Prepare Matters
HRMD receives employment-related matters from ministries and departments and reviews the information required for submission.
STEP 02
Verify Documentation
Supporting documentation is reviewed to ensure that submissions are complete and meet established requirements.
STEP 03
Prepare & Transmit to the PSC
HRMD prepares and formally transmits matters to the Public Service Commission for consideration in accordance with applicable procedures.
STEP 04
Record Decisions & Follow Up
PSC decisions and correspondence are recorded, communicated to the relevant parties and followed up as required.
